How hot does your hand get after sustained fire due to the skeletonized rail?

The gun never really felt like it got too hot. You could definitely feel the heat while firing it but the way it is designed, It QUICKLY dissipated. I am still going to get some BCM keyhole rail covers when they get back in stock though.
It looks like the rail puts your hand far enough away that it won't get too hot, especially with all the airflow through it. The AFG2 helps as well.
I know the AFG2 on my SBR is extremely helpful for keeping me from grabbing the FSB/suppressor and acting as a nothing layer between me and the barrel.
Tis odd about the PMags not locking it back. Will they catch the bolt if you put an empty mag in and pull the bolt back?
