Actual good beer thread

Just about to leave Raleigh, NC. Had a few good beers here. The best part though is that you can buy full-power Yuengling Light at the grocery store (cold!) and it's the same price as Miller Light.

Kirk & I drank Kurt out of his home brew yesterday, man that is goooooooood stuff.
Dark but not the least bit bitter. Now I just have to try Mitch's & compare.

I'll reserve a bunch for the homies from one of my next batches.

Oh, and Stella Artois is great beer.

There is nothing better than a good homebrew. However the filp side is also true, nothing worse than a bad hombrew. Back when I was breweing I had some batches that I wouldn't feed to my worst enemeys dog.

How about Three Philosiphers by the Ommegang Brewery. or Piraat (always rated on of the top 10 beers in the world). Those are some of my favorites.

There is an app for iPhone (and I assume android) called untapped. You can rate beers and add and follow your friends to see what beers they are drinking.

I'm glad to see some fellow home brewers on here. I'm currently fermenting a blueberry porter and a Belgian strong ale. They should be ready to drink around late February early March.

I've been enjoying some Blue Moon Belgian Wheat unfiltered strong beer. Dammed tasty.

Oh, buddy. If we're talking about cheap beer...

Can't get real Natty in Oklahoma. Best booze/$ ratio I've seen is Lost Lake Ice unless you want to move to straight-up malt liquor, which is another thread.

Screw you beer snobs. I got "sick" at work today and took advantage of a day on the lake with no wind.

didn't catch anything but a buzz with some Coors Light.

I have a coffee stout brewing as we speak.

I know. That's why I brought a case back with me from St. Louis this last weekend. Along with a good bottle of Rum. I go up there once a month to see my kids and always bring something back with me.

What would you like to know? The coffee beans are added toward the end of the process and left to brew with the beer. It's my first try at it. Usually I stick to brewing simple stuff as I'm kind of a simpleton.
