Actual good beer thread

Yes sir learned to play beer pong on that liquor store beer, golf, and explored many miles of the Osage

sounds like one of those beers that "gives you a sore ass" every time you drink it

I tried to break one of those short ****ing bottles over my head.

There's a trick to it, and I can pretty reliably break a normal beer bottle on my head, but those short bottles are bad news bears.

I've always been more of the "break it over some else's head" type

Fuller's London Porter is a consistently great "mass-produced" beer. Too bad you can't get it around here in 500mL bottles anymore. It's totally different drinking it as a pint versus a shitty 12 oz. 12 oz of beer? Whoever came up with that one is a POS.

I think my liquor store quit selling big sky brewing products. Love the Moose drool.

Trout slayer wheat beer is nice too.

I am a big fan of Boulevard Bully Porter as a winter beer..

Trying Full Sail Amber ale now again. Don't think it is in my top 5.

Never liked any Sam Adams product

The wife and I have been buying singles to try and rate on a A-F scale (we're teachers... It just comes natural!). Here are a few we've liked...
Anderson Valley Summer Solstice
Anderson Valley Barney Flats Oatmeal Stout
Xingu (Brazilian dark beer)
Young's Double Chocolate Stout
Great Divide Brewing Co. Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout

And for some holiday choices...
Sam Adams Chocolate Bock
Leinenkugel's Snowdrift Vanilla Porter

Leinenkugel's Sunset Wheat is a beer I usually get for free, but I always like it, and occasionally buy it.

Newcastle Brown. Old stand-by, oftentimes my favorite beer. Only problem is the clear bottles; what a terrible idea. Sometimes the beer starts to sour because of UV rays.

Negra Modelo. A lot of people know about it, but it's always great. In fact, most dark lagers are very good beer.

Rauchbier is exceptional, but not popular by any means, and oftentimes you can't get it in OKC. Most liquor store personnel have never heard of it. It's made with smoked barley. Sam Adams finally put one on the market called Cinder Bock, so maybe that one will be in our stores.
