To further clarify Dave29461's post,

I have a 1943 Tula cylindrical reciever, no special collectors value. I got a WWII reproduction mount; it is the 2 piece side mount for a normal eye relief scope. Instead of installed rings it has a weaver compatible rail (hence why i bought the darned thing) I have a wally-weaver 3x9x40 mounted on low mounts. This type of mount allows for continued use of the iron sights (important to me). As for the bolt i dont remember whom i bought it from but it is in the style of bolts that Jim the boltman makes. (i got it in 2006) The Gun Doctor did the mount and inletting for me. It shoots well, even after about 2000 rounds.

Mount- 60$
Rings- 10$
Scope- 50$
bolt- 50$
Drilling, tapping, and inletting- 25$
Smacking a 3/4" steel fence post at 100 yrds when all your buddies have missed- Priceless....

These guys have the best scope mount I've seen for the Nagant, they also have a replacement bolt body with a turned down handle.

The mount is drill and tap mount and is probably a job for a smith, but it's built like a tank!
