3/27/2011 USSA Rifle match

I do not have one, they were $329 on classicarms.us (one of my favorite purchase places - I have a few FFL's (OK Local) on record - might have to have the FFL's update their licenses with them, but for the most part. They are small mom and pop setup that offered some great prices. If they were in OK, I'd do everything in my power to get them on BS.

I put in an order a few months ago for the Draco, but after a few days, I finally called to find out that they were out of stock. Me being impatient started checking out Centerfire and JG but the Draco was nowhere to be found. I'd love an SBR (specifically for Hog hunting)

After recent events, I think I would buy a Kel-Tec PLR 16 vs the Draco - even though I could interchange the hardware(mags and accessories) and ammo too. I would love a .223 option, but not 100% sold on the reliability of what is available currently in my budget range.

Now, that would be something to bring to a rifle match! As for the stock - I would attach a rear eye for a sling that I could use to simulate a rear stock when strung on my shoulder.

If You don't have a stock you can't run it at the OKCGC rifle matches. Not sure what USSA says about pistol carbines at their match.

I'd love to own a sbr AK-74 in 5.45 and compete with it. It would be money - set it up suppressed like they did the AK in Sons of Guns and I'd be in heaven.

It may look good on camera, but you'll never win with it. ;) Come shoot with us so we can learn you some things.

Won't be using shoot house or 360, there is a class that will be using them. So, we will be shooting 200 yards from the roof top with steel at 200 and clays at 25 and 50.

Still sounds like a great match.
Any of you guys (Redneck, MacGyver, etc..) that have never been out to USSA should make this a must do. They have a fantastic facility & always put on an awesome match, whatever the discipline.

+1. KP sounds just like me when I started. I was shooting an AK74 and buying new $hit to hang off of it every week. Now I aint got no mo AK.

I'll sell you this

Just kidding.

Very tempting. But I only have 2-15 round mags for my Nordic upper. And no ammo for the .223 that needs to be re-zeroed. Working in BFE until saturday eve and no way to do or get anything done. Definatly gonna try to get to the next one.

Well since there will be long range shots now, I will not be going. My rifle does not have the equipment to shoot 200 yards.

Bring what you got. It's not a major match. There's no money at stake. I won't laugh if you miss as long as you won't laugh when I miss.
