Hello,

I own the above gun and it has a 28" ribbed barrel. Based on all of the reading 20-26 inches all seem to be talked about but nothing on the 28 inch.

This is what I am planning on trying to do to get ready, thoughts?

- Nordic extension tube to get 11 or 12 +1. (If I can find one)
- Open loading port
- Front sight
- Oversized bolt release

From a minimalist perspective any other suggestions on above to-do list?

I want to use this to at least give the game a try but in the long run do you keep your eyes open for a 24" or 26" barrel?

Thanks,

Steve

Get the lifter welded up and you're set. A 28" gun might be a few ounches heavier than a 21" gun but it won't slow you down a bit.

Weld the lifter and have Accurate Iron smooth up the shell latch then run the elephant dung out of it. 28" barrel won't hurt you, it just means you can run a longer tube without the gun looking weird.

Where did you get that red tube? Are other colors available?

+8 = 11 in the tube
+9 = 12 in the tube

You can find what you need here

Thanks for the link and the heads up. Definitely don't know all of the suppliers yet....

Confirming other research today...

The +9 would make more sense since you are either loading in two's or four's at a time, correct? This would be for reloading after the buzzer.

Its an Xrail RCI XM2BE that i picked up from a fellow Boomer Member. They are also available in black. Not sure if other colors are available or not. Its not just a tube extension, it actually replaces the stock mag tube giving me a 10+1 capacity. (actually 10+1+1, IF i knew how to ghost load my M1)

The Red was a special run he did for team Noveske

You could always buy a tube from tony then take it to precision anodizing give him $35 and turn it any color you want. I've done one in blue, red and green. Turn around time is less than two weeks.
