2012 AR15.com/Rockcastle ProAm 3 Gun Championship

It's a crappy way to register IMHO. Give precidence to previous shooters in Pro. Do AM as a random draw. Top Am's get the option of going or are forced to go Pro.

I got in as well. Did anyone else get the "too soon" message until about 33min after? Stupid computer entry BS. I'm in Pro for TO. The N. LA/AR bunch will be there.

All that terrain and 2-4 stages are shot from shooting boxes? All the Rifle paper is 1/2 scale?

I hope it turns out better than it looks on paper.

And when will we see Jesse's "kick ass" 3-gun match on an epic 500 person scale?

Did you stop to wonder about cycle times for that many shooters? Did you stop to think that last year you "absolutely LOVED this match and it was the best in the country" and it followed THE SAME FORMAT??? Did you stop to wonder WHY it ran on time? Did you stop to wonder why you had time to do the side shoots? If you had you would realise that it will be a great match once again. In your other thread on the "best 3-gun matches" you mentioned this one as one of the best and now you are degrading it?

As I recall you posted in the other one that you had shot them all and knew all about them....how many times have you shot them? There are some folks on here that have shot them since their inception which in a couple of cases is 1995. They might have a bit different "read" on matches than you do, and Rock Castle looks pretty good to me, but then again thats just on "paper" and I wouldn't have made like 3 trips out there this year so far checking on things so you can have a mediocre time at best.

I guess that means they will be better than they look on paper? I just watched last years video again and I didn't see a single shooting box. I hope I'm wrong and those boxes are 10' x 10'. I figured you designed the stages since I know how much you live those 1/2 scale Rifle paper targets.

I must have also missed your year by year break down on all the matches since 1995 too???

Don't Anybody take this the wrong way I have been holding on to this one for a while but shake em you two the pissing contest is over! :D

The Design commity was Jerry Miculek, Benny Hill, Jeff Cramblit, Myself, Pat Kelley Ty Gentry, and Bruce Piatt. Each of us had a stage to design. I detest half sized rifle targets, but they weren't my stage.

I didn't have to do a play by play because you have shot them all and know everything about them. With knowledge like that what's to add?

That explains a lot!!! The geriatric crew designed them. Will they be wheelchair accessible? I will bust balls on a face-to-face basis come match day. Can we get specifics on who did what so as not to offend anyone?

Sheeiiiiit! The only stage that has boxes is Kurt's stage? Now wonder he got all hot and bothered! The rest look pretty damn good. I must have gotten all worked up and forgot about the good ones when I saw 10 arial clays and 3 shooting boxes.

I thought I was shooting Midwest again this year.
