It's a crappy way to register IMHO. Give precidence to previous shooters in Pro. Do AM as a random draw. Top Am's get the option of going or are forced to go Pro.
And when will we see Jesse's "kick ass" 3-gun match on an epic 500 person scale?
Did you stop to wonder about cycle times for that many shooters? Did you stop to think that last year you "absolutely LOVED this match and it was the best in the country" and it followed THE SAME FORMAT??? Did you stop to wonder WHY it ran on time? Did you stop to wonder why you had time to do the side shoots? If you had you would realise that it will be a great match once again. In your other thread on the "best 3-gun matches" you mentioned this one as one of the best and now you are degrading it?
As I recall you posted in the other one that you had shot them all and knew all about them....how many times have you shot them? There are some folks on here that have shot them since their inception which in a couple of cases is 1995. They might have a bit different "read" on matches than you do, and Rock Castle looks pretty good to me, but then again thats just on "paper" and I wouldn't have made like 3 trips out there this year so far checking on things so you can have a mediocre time at best.
The Design commity was Jerry Miculek, Benny Hill, Jeff Cramblit, Myself, Pat Kelley Ty Gentry, and Bruce Piatt. Each of us had a stage to design. I detest half sized rifle targets, but they weren't my stage.
I didn't have to do a play by play because you have shot them all and know everything about them. With knowledge like that what's to add?
It says at the top of each, wise guy!
I think they look good. Can't wait.
lol, that's some funny elephant dungand Kelly Raglin.
