2011 High Plains Shooting Challenge, June 25th & 26th

Trapr - sent you a message.

JP - you don't need practice when your equipment is so superior, right?

I really wish I could make this. My girlfriend is forcing me to get scuba certification in the presine waters of Lake Murray.

Jesse has a pool, you can scuba there - Plus YOU LIVE IN OKLAHOMA - Where would you Scuba at anyways, one of our many man made shallow lakes? Oh wait, you must be using the scuba for noodling.

Ther are more places than you might think to scuba here.
Get certified at the lighthouse. They have a private filtered pond for the open water dive.

I might be able to talk her out of it. This was an OSU-sponsored class, so I've already payed $200 for it, and I did the classroom and swimming pool portion of it a few weeks ago. But after talking to some guys at heartland I feel like a fool for not signing up for this awesome challenge. Now if only Jesse would sell me that upper he had in the classifieds so that I could be really competitive.

The wind is suppoesed to be 5-10 mph on Wednesday. I'm going to work on my 100-300 yard shots so I don't embarrass myself in front of my squad. Also need to try out this new Gissele trigger. It dry fires pretty damn good but only live fire will determine if I like it or nor. Getting excited for this match.

starting tomorrow if you have any important questions, do not post them here. call me, the chance of me getting time to log onto a computer to see posts here is not good. Set up and RO's shooting will take priority.

I read the safety rules on the High Plains site. I found that their rules require the use of a Chamber Flag.

I don't have one.

Where can I buy one locally? I can make one, too, so it's not a big deal.

I mentioned this to someone more familiar with how High Plains does things and he indicated a chamber flag may not be required.

Do I need one or not?
