I'm just guessing that none of the RO's are really RO's. And the guys waving guns around have never shot a Match.
Bingo. And taking advice from Corey, Donovan, David, Blaise, or myself wasn't an option.

Like I said, I won't be back.

3 mag dumps at 20 yards. ...what were you trying to hit?

Pretty glad I stayed home for honey dos to shoot another day

It was a spinner that had about a 8" plate on bottom and a 6" on top and you had to get it to do a complete rotation. We were told 10 second penalty then some of us got 60 seconds and some didn't. I shot the stage in 146 seconds plus a 60 second penalty. The stage should have only taken maybe 30 seconds.

The spinner was terrible. The bolts kept loosening and all that slack just absorbed all the energy from the bullets.

TWall has pics of the AR. I don't know how to post em

I was told 60 second penalty, but when scores were done they issued 10 seconds.
I got 60 at least that's what was written and when I asked the MD that's what he said they were giving I know a few got 10. They wrote it as 6 misses on my score card

I had fun but it was a bunch of monkeys and a football, would be a fun match if it was more thought out . If they had enough shooters to make the full $1000 pay out we still may have been there trying to shot . Gotta love taping tagerts with duck take .

That's what you call an Open bolt conversion there

Julie and I had fun regardless!
It was just a lot different than anything you'd normally see at a match.

That must be one of those new open guns.
actually, with that dot mounted on top of the scope, it was an open gun.

Not sure who the rifle belonged to but the guy shooting it borrowed it and I think it was only his second time shooting an AR and his first match ever. He couldn't get it to run all day. I loaned him my gun and ammo on one stage and he said he had some new ammo and was GTG on the last stage..... Not!!

I hope it wasn't his second time shooting an AR cause that's the guy who is supposed to be teaching the carbine class out there today.
