As a matter of fact, yes.

I called BDM June 7th and spoke to "Bruce.". ( not the most cheerful fellow). He told me that they are ABANDONING the 32 rd steel lip mags. They could not get them to work, so they are giving up on them.

INSTEAD, in 3 weeks they are going to start making 26 rd mags with poly-reinforced lips that will be interchangeable. IE; when/if they wear out,, you replace them. (that's how I understood it)

Otherwise, they will look and function like the current 26 rd mag (no thumb pull) and will replace the existing mag design with this one.

So they are looking at July 1st

I'm nit sure if that's when they start shipping, but my impression was that's when they'll start making them.

Sounds about right I was hoping to have something larger cap since my drum took a crap on me after about the 5 time of use. I still haven't took it apart to see if I can find out wth happens to it. Too bad Butler Creek doesn't make some. My 10/22 mags have been through he'll and still function.

I be in for another drum instead of 2 sticks also. This blows, I was really wanting that thumb pull on a stick mag...

that thumb pull would have been money on the sticks. i hate loading those things! i will ask joe bob what our options are as well. i woudl be up for using my $ to get some sticks of some sort. i don't wnat to have to use my drums for shoot two "drop mag" reload shoot two drills or stages. those drums don't seem like they will want to be dropped too many times.

The new style mags did sound cool. Since I won't shoot my Nordic upper at the big match, I can afford to wait.

I suggested to "Bruce" that he call Jimbob and give them an update, but I'm sure he didn't.

Holy mother of all loaders! If that will work for the 50 rounders too, I'm gonna get one. Couple of thousands of rounds later, my thumbs have callouses.


Update post after thinking about buying one.

UUUMMMM looking at the buy it link, I'll keep my callouses.
Its not that I can't afford it, but refuse to pay that much.
