    A little about me

I thought about that since my Kimber Micro 9 does the same thing with steel case ammo. Unfortunately Armscor is the only manufacturer of 22 TCM ammo, so switching brands is not an option.

    A little about me

I took the RIA 22 TCM to the range for the first time today. The first round was fine, however the next round failed to extract. It was stuck in the chamber so tightly that I had to tap it out with a cleaning rod. Same thing happened with the next two rounds. Are the clearances so tight that the...

I agree. I’ve had my 1968 for 20 years and am not likely to ever part with it.

    Cerakote or Parkerized

The confusing part is according to the SDS Imports website: Description 1911 A1 Tanker Semi-Automatic Pistol, .45ACP -Upgraded Version of the 1911A1 Army - 4.25" Hammer Forged Chome-Plated Barrel - Hammer Forged Full Size Frame, Commander Length Slide - GI Style Sights - Flared...

    A little about me

I received my first 1911 from my dad approximately 45 years ago. It was his service sidearm. A Remington Rand M1911A1. I have had an affection for the 1911 platform ever since. I currently own two Kimber micro 9s, the Remington Rand (1943), a RIA 1911 in 9mm/22TCM, and soon, a Tisas Tanker in...

    Cerakote or Parkerized

I have been researching the Tisas Tanker and cannot find a definitive answer as to whether it is Parkerized or Cerakoted. Even the SDS Imports website does not specifically state which it is. Any help is appreciate.
