    MAGAZINES 1911A1.... WHAT IS BEST ???

    I have a Tisas 1911 9MM full size (duty) and it only failed once during break-in using the mags that it came with. No problems since then using Mec-Gar, Wilson Combat, and Chip McCormick. Probably around 2K rounds (commercial and hand-loads)

    Shoulder Holster Advice?

    I use Perry suspenders to transfer the weight to my shoulders. They attach to your belt instead of your trousers.

    Springfield 1911 Always carry three spare mags - 2 in 1791 mag pouch and one in the magazine pocket of my Proper tack pants (is there anything such as "spare" ammo?)

    New holster For Springfield Xd

    I found a new brand of holster for my SA M1911 A1. The brand is 1791. The material is good leather. I love their stuff. Bought an OWB holster, magazine pouch, and a belt. Carry my full sized 1911 in it daily.

    I am a long time lover of the M1911 pistol (I got my first one over 40 years ago - it was a Government Issue 1911A1 made by Ithaca during WW2). I am looking forward to learning a lot from you guys!
