I own both, but prefer Nighthawk for esthetic reasons.

I voted NH simply because I've never owned one . I have two Wilsons and love them . I've handled a few Night Hawks and the fit and finish are excellent . When one becomes available for the right price I'll take the leap .

I voted NHC. I have shot bothe WC and NHC . They were both great . I feel like WC has gone heavy with Marketing spend and derailments to berettas, glocks, etc. To me it is just a matter of time before that shows up detracting from their core products .

I think the NHC classic is about as beautiful as a 1911 can get . Plus I really like some of their new offerings.

I couldn't vote because after discovering Guncrafter Industries my Wilsons went away and I have no experience with Nighthawk, although I hear good things about them.

I vote WC. Tough one - I have a NHC and I have a relative that has an early NHC as well and both are first class.
My EDC with a bunch of rounds through it is my favorite WC - a LW Commander Hackathorn Special in 9mm. I just like the classic looks of the WC pistols. As someone else said - I don't much go for the modern stuff.
But I don't believe you can go wrong with either.

I had this very same debate and chose Nighthawk because it is one gunsmith who works your gun. WC seems to be moving more and more toward very high quality production guns.

i voted NHC...I had a Colt Lightweight Commander bobtailed and done over by them.....Bob Reeves (Customer Service head) was awesome to work with. The work was flawless...

as a side note...the aluminum frame had to be re-anodized after the bobtail cut. When Bob received it back from their finishers, he was not happy with the job and sent it back. He emailed me and explained....no additional cost to me, and a great gesture of customer service IMHO.

Will eventually buy a NHC....or send a few other pistols to them...definitely.

i suggest you buy both and a Springfield and a Colt etc. etc.
