I have a Kimber HD Tactical and a Ruger LW Commander 1911 both in 45acp.Both are flawless.The Kimber has never failed in matches.The only thing I would change on the Ruger is Night sights.Having said that I would like to find a LW Tisas Commader .

Ive used the Kimber Tactical HD

Ive owned and shot both the Scout Squad and M1A.Ive gotten rid of both.Ive built an AR10 type with a 16" barrel and like it very much.I also like the FAL better than the Scout or M1A.The AR10 easier to maintain and get parts for as well as the FAL.

Striker fired not for me,got rid of all mine several years ago.1911 45acp,CZ s/a 9mm.But I need to find some reasonable ammo for my M25 45LC

I dont own one but the TUrks have been making weapons for centuries.

My Ruger LW Commander 45acp seems to have thin grips which are okay.The gun seems to recoil much harder than a full weight govt model.I have avg medium sized hands might look into so aftermarket grips to mitigate some of that recoil.I carry mine in a Vedder AIWB .

I also have the LW Commander

I have to say Wilson,but I am trying out a SIG 8 rounder so far so good.
