Thats why I like shooting my Dad's MKII Slabside. I ususally don't have time to hang around and help him clean it...LOL....And that's also why I love my S&W 22S, it's much easier to clean.
Too bad I didn't know about this a couple of weeks ago. I just had a buddy move up near here from Houston to work a pipline project between Wichata Falls and Amarallo. I could have had him bring some up.
Now I'm going to have to try to make this one if your going to haul out the ole Ruger. A 7" Super Blackhawk was what got me hooked on shooting the .44 Mag. Plus shooting a single action at a match is a ton of fun. I shot my first Steel Challange this month down at I.T.P.S.C. and pulled out...

Centerfire Systems in KY has some in stock both with the standard stock and the laminate stock. I'm kicking myself for not getting another one when they were $99.00 last year.
It's too much fun. You will be hooked and start looking for one. At least that's how it worked for me. Haven't bought one yet but still keeping my eyes open for a deal.
LOL....I love it. I also think I've found my new IDPA cover garmet....http://www.expeditionportal.com/expedition-gear/accessories/1753-stuff-and-things-winnifred-beach-sport-utility-bathrobes.html
Don't feel so bad. I'm fighting the same problem. I've been trying to practice mag changes moving up and down the hallway between the bedrooms at each end of the hall.
At least Wally World hasn't gotten crazy yet, when you can find it. Last I bought there was PMC 115gr 9mm $200 out the door for 750rds and for Federal Auto Match 22lr it was $45 for 975 rds.
