wearing my running shorts and a Belly Band now. Have the Ultimate brand, on Amazon. Actually have 2, you need to wash and dry them. Works well with a Glock 43. Easy10, an easy 10 miles :)
LaPierre and Cox did step in and stopped New Orleans from confiscating guns. This was after Katrina. "The Great New Orleans Gun Grab" is an informative read. Like to see the NRA get back to the basics, education and training.
just a follow up, finally found this ...
Safety Stop on Hammer
The Safety Stop is a flat, shelf-like surface on the hammer which functions automatically. It will engage the sear in the unlikely event of primary sear notch failure. This will prevent the hammer from falling fully forward...
This may be a good thing, a move to support state organizations vs national. You have New York arresting a guy for defending his home because his handgun was not registered to him. His father died and he inherited it. Other states moving to Constitutional Carry. Like to hear from those with...
Pete Brownell's resignation is of note, worth paying attention to. What is perplexing is why hire the son-in-law of McQueen to sue Ackerman McQueen. La Pierre's shopping trip is peanuts to what the lawyers cost ( $100k/day).
take a look at the Range Officer Elite, much lighter. Comes in Compact and Champion sizes. The Compact is maybe 1/4" shorter. Also an Operator version with extras, e.g. rails and better sights.
Looks like the aftermarket hammers are 2 position only.
Am I the only one that sees a safety issue with this?
Did want to add a beavertail and commander hammer to a Mil Spec, hammer bite getting old.
Its like potato chips, you can't have just one. Start with a low end model and take it apart. Hard to go wrong on any 1911 but I caution about hammer bite on GI models and not a fan of series 80 firing pin safety. Ah, don't take the sear and disconnector out at first.
