2011 High Plains Shooting Challenge, June 25th & 26th

Rusty RO'd the cyclone stage. There was a wicked wind getting that good old red dirt into everything. Good day all around. Four stages to go tomorrow.

Wait a minute, I don't want start calling names unless I'm right, that fact I could not find it does not mean it is not out.
I will find it if it is there and send picture for proof.

The BS banner was out. I didn't shoot, but I was there for a couple hours watching this morning with my daughter. I remember seeing it. It was on one of the later stages.

How were the stages? Everyone had fun? Did ya'll get to see some kick ass shooting? Those BS Jersey's look sweet!!!

Don't sweat it.

You're going through the 'HOLY S#*%' phase we all went through at our first major match. Now you know what to work on. :)
 
Thanks chambers - my first thought was imagine the possibilities if I had a super tuned AR - light as hell no recoil and super accurate evetytime I picked it up. Might be amazing.
 
Recoil is the violent action that my AK likes to do every time the trigger is moved to the rear position. Kinda like a kiss on the cheek that leaves a bruise on your face, but on my shoulder.
 
Many people used irons today. I did. Some of these stages were tough. I need to practice more than rarely.
 
I need to grab a solid AR with irons to see if I like it - Then I can take some shots at 300 with it to be sure, I also need to do this with an AK-74 in 5.45 to see how that one rolls.
