break out after drops and changes is CFU-21, CFM-62, RFM-9, and RFU-8. So if you want to compete against the least number of competitors it looks like rimfire is your division. but I know who is in those divisions????

I'm going to be shooting CFU... My rimfire gun is still not reliable enough for this match. I did get the .223 verified on 4 MOA targets at 100 yards tonight though! That is not a big target at that distance. lol...

those numbers do not include RO's, some sponsors that I know will shoot rimfire, and some of the change requests.

Pretty sure my ammo is non steel core - probably bi metal core(FMJ) 122gr 7.62x39. I just read the rules and am planning on running it at the match - no worries tho, I'm not supposed to be able to hit any targets outside of 100 yards. Anyone have any spare AK Mags that I can borrow for the match? I have two 30rd steel mags - 20rd mags would work perfectly with my grip/pod attachment, but I can run it with the legs open to load 30 rounders too. Need to hit the 200 yard range for a bit soon too.

Awesome - I'll ask the wife to see what is going on, I got my new OKCGC membership and need to break it in! If I can't I may have to grab the mags from you at the match (the only other match I will shoot this month will be the Heartland).

I think if you guys show up ready to shoot at 6:30am, Kurt and I should be there around 8:30, and you guys will be jumpin' around ready to light this pig up.

DO NOT FORGET TO PURCHASE YOUR MULLIGAN AT REGISTRATION, I will announce at the shooters meeting one final time. Once the shooting starts you will not be able to purchase one.

Guys I am moving this topic to the new sub forum for MAJOR MATCHES. Trying to do a little house keeping. The big matches don't see a lot of activity until it is close to match time so they get lost in the frequent local match weekly postings. Hopefully this will help keep everything clean and everyone up to date.

then I found it!!!
Vortex ,just confirmed they are sending stuff, and Kurt just accepted a 24 gun safe as a prize from a sponsor, all 500 pounds of it, so I'm guessing a local shooter will probably wind up with it, you will have to take it with you from the range.
If any targets show damage after a shooter has shot, we'll be questioning you under a bare bulb, dripping water and a fire ant mound.
The only thing we are really concerned with is AP or steel core ammo, bimetal stuff is OK, it will still stick to a magnet but we'll check it thoroughly before we make you dig the hole!!!
