Congrats on the new adventure! I've only been to Indiana a time or two, but it was fun.

Looks like I'll be moving to Indiana, Lafayette to be exact. Going to be building these....

Home of the Purdue Boilermakers (and where Axl Rose was originally from; technically, Purdue is in West Lafayette).

I spent some time there--it's a good area (a bit more to do than most towns of similar size given that Purdue is close by).

I've heard about that place.
GE/CFM LEAP aircraft engines are sweet!

I did some training at the old GE CTAC training site in Cincinnati 15 years ago. Back then they were still building engines in Cincinnati.
I don't think it's still operating.
I run and maintain 10 GE cumbustion turbines at a peaking facility.
LM6000 is a light marine engine in the GE CF6 family of aircraft engines.
747-400 engine.

It should be a great job man.
It's not rocket science, well... not quite:cool:
Congrats. Hope your move goes well.

It's a new, purpose built facility. Opened in Sept '15. Would suggest getting a tour if you're ever in the area.

Congrats on the new job and pending move. Closer to family is always a good thing.

nice college town with a cool Lewis and Clark era fest in the fall. good luck Bender

Awesome Bender! Been meaning to ask how the job interview went. That looks like one hack of a hair dryer you will be making. ;)
