eww, moving in the middle of winter. But will be worth it being closer to family and a new job. Hope everything goes well

Well.......its a bit of a long story.
Ill "move" there in Jan. Wife will stay here, she wants to hold out and retire Sept 1, 2019.
We will list the house in spring, not that I think there will be an issue, but I'll be on probation for 90 days.
So all the wheels will start turning come March
Assuming the house sells quickly, the wife will move out in mid July and the house hunting will begin.

Congrats Bender. Sounds like you've got a good opportunity and a good plan. Lots to juggle so best wishes that it all goes smoothly. I like Indiana. Been to a few different areas. Had good times.
