Unfortunately I didnt specify that I personally wasnt including component bullets in my little rant, though there are plenty of con artists dealing those as well, but rather primers and powders. It's still fairly easy to find decently priced bullets. I will say that the better bullets are getting more rare tho.

Recently bought spp from Brownells.
I did over pay compared to pre C19 prices. However only increased my per loaded round cost with existing components by $.07 each.
I checked back a couple times & nadda. So I may have gotten a bit lucky. That happens rarely.

Labor is messed up, hard to compete with the government.
not making excuses, if they or anyone else is walking the dog, they will get theirs cheaper than dirt style going forward.

You sound normal to me . I base what I buy on what I have primers for . No use buying more bullets than you have primers for . I also have $$$ limits . I wont pay scalper prices . I can hold out a long time .

It's a time in the history of our Country we would expect a US Powder, bullet ,primer, case Manufacture to
rent old buildings not build new ones. Get on with making sure those Americans who supported them all
have ammo & loading components so they can defend Freedom.

I have a hard time believing that this so called shortage is anything but a bunch of WOKE CEOs all
working for the states good. Hoping for many fat Government Ammo buys in the future.

It's been the same old tired lie from the get go. I suspect they will all blame Covid in the end.
I know so few shooters who are buying at scalpers prices today, many have stocked up years ago
& do not trust the Ammo makers any longer.
