Tried DW, Colt and Wilson Combat mags with various ammo types. A few rounds hit the feed ramp so hard the bullet got pushed into the casing. This thing better come back like a custom nighthawk or Les Bear after all this trouble.

Sorry to hear of your troubles with your Dan Wesson. Unfortunately they seem to be coming up more often with these little issues that have to be sent back for repairs. Once it is repaired and broken in, you will find that a 1911 can be a pleasure to shoot and more accurate vs. many plastic or metal framed guns.
