My wife likes a local brew called Tuckaleechee very dark along with the Samuel Adams listed already Yuengling. My favorite beer is cold and free. But she calls me a puss because I always buy Bud light.

Yuengling probably has the best taste/$ ratio of any beer I've had. I tried to find some in Chicago last year but the guy at the store said they don't sell it West of Ohio. I like to Smokey and the Bandit a case or two back whenever I'm far enough East.

PG sorry to hear you can't get Yuengling, It's one of the few I will drink with the wife. How about Guinness that's another one She will drink.
I must have messed up my taste buds in College, use to buy a 40oz of something good then a milk jug full of Sterling Light draft it cost $1.00 or $1.50 with out a milk jug.

Last night I bounced through McNellie's in the course of the evening and got the She's Crafty flight. "Flights" are about $10 and they bring you a tray of 5 double glasses with different beers in them.
Beers were as follows:
North Coast Scrimshaw Pilsner: it was OK, didn't have much flavor though
Big Sky Moose Drool: Awesome, but it has a slightly thick viscosity that actually feels like drool. If you can keep that from bothering you it's really good.
Tallgrass 8-Bit Pale Ale: we've been over this. I used it as a palette cleanser.
Ommegang Abbey Ale: I'm not good with beer terminology, but this is one of those ales that tastes like apple cider and banana. Didn't care for it.
Left Hand Milk Stout: this was my favorite beer for a long time. I still really like it.
Before that, I had Marshall Brewing Co's Big Jamoke Porter with dinner and I liked that a lot too.
I also had a liter of Spaten Lager at Fassler Hall, which is a pretty good generic German lager. Spaten's Oktoberfest and Optimator are also both pretty good.

Oh Yeah! The last time the wife and I went to the Hibachi place in Stillwater, I had to roll a hundred dollar bill out of the wallet.
I'm a sushi addict, and after 4 rounds plus some hot saki, and the meal we left a whole lot lighter in the wallet.
Since then I've found the little place on the other side of town that has a 15 count plate of Sashimi and Sushi for 1/3 that. I love that stuff.

Marshall Big Jamoke Porter
The Bellhaven, Fade to Black, and Jamoke were the best of the bunch.
