I just talked to Todd at Heartland. He can't find ANY stock, but has noticed a few online auctions. 1000 rds of Wolf .223 went for $800
A seller who had a LOT of Pmags was auctioning them in 100 mag lots every 1/2 hour starting on Thursday. The first lot went for $5600, the last one went Sunday morning for $8600, or $86 per mag.
Price gouging?
Of course not, since the market set the price.
Oh, H&H is selling them for $19? Yeah, because they're OUT OF STOCK, from what I understand. I'm sure when HO is out, they'll go back to $18.
Todd said they have 10 AR's coming in that he was able to scare up. Instead of being accused of price gouging, he's going to schedule an auction. Those interested can participate and set the price.
He is also going to auction off the 3 range rental AR's, so stay tuned.
Todd apologizes for having to raise some prices, but HIS prices have increased since the tragedy, also. If you want to discuss it with him, he welcomes your call. Further, if you have Pmags you'll sell for less than $50, he'd be interested in buying them from you.
