Here is one From my buddies managed lease in Dooley CO GA. I havent been able to go this year so I've been hunting through him. I went down once but had to come back due to weather threat. I'm going to try to get out in Dec.

Very nice buck your friend got. The tine length is impressive.

One of the area land owners wanted his grandson to get a deer, so I took him out. We had several does in the wheat field feeding along, when a bruiser came out across the field. He was looking for love.
When he got in range, he pulled the trigger. Nice solid buck that will probably score in the 140 gross area. Not bad for a first deer!

My 11 year old nephew bagged his first deer yesterday with his Stag Arms Model 7 in 6.8 SPC.

I shot at one today at 623 yards and the wind took my bullet to the right and missed him. Tried to rattle him back over to us but he was hot and heavy on a doe.

I remember when I used to get all excited about deer season, I sure miss that feeling! but all the calls I've gotten about folks getting deer I'm thinking I might have to oil up the ol' 284 and see if it'll still drop a doe hehe.

This is a second cousin to my wife that shot this buck this morning on some land I farm. It's his first deer as well. He was hunting with his older brother.

Does anyone know of or have some land around the Lawton area I can hunt. Started a new job and don't have the time off to go where I normally hunt in Southeast Oklahoma. Not concered with a trophy, I just want some meat for the freezer and I ask happy with a doe. So, if anyone can help me out please let me know.
