OKCGC 3gun May 26th -Who's ready?

Some of us, myself and 1 more probably, will be shooting the larger variety rifle rounds. So bring on the wind. Hopefully it wont be too windy, that would slightly dimenish the fun of standing anywhere near the concussion off my rifle.

Shoot HM with me, so I won't feel so lonely.

I would have shot HM with you guys but I was way to tired to reread another set of rules this week to figure out which HM we run at okcgc.

Cool Matt Ty

Big props to Mike Curwus for stepping up and running a great match in the absence of Kurt and Curly.

I have the score sheets but I prolly won't get to stuff them into Chambers, program until tomorrow night. If it helps I can tell you that you didn't win.

Thanks to all you guys that put this on and for the advice. This is just my 3rd or 4th match but i'm learning. Now if i could just get that shotgun loading thing down.......
btw i used to be DoubleBarrel on here but now that i know some of you by name i thought it better to just go by my name. thanks again.

Just wanted to say thanks for all the good advice and info. I'm hooked I will be back next month...with my guns. Thanks to Corey and the guys for letting me run their shotguns. Y'all rock!
Thanks again TJ

I'm kind of having mixed feelings on todays match, this has got to go down as my worst match since I started, and I can't seem to blame anyone except for the person who put this together because I know I didn't have anything to do with my performance, so thanks a lot Mike! On the other hand, if there is something that I can learn from todays match is don't make mistakes. Maybe I did have something to do with my own performance. Sorry Mike, I take back what I said, thank you for putting this together so we could come out and have a good time.

I posted earlier in this thread that sign in was going to be at 830; and I was pretty close to that. Jesse stated 8-ish, but we got our wires crossed.

I predicted 20 shooters tops, but we had what, 33 or so??! with the guru Miller having a class too, and on mem day weekend!?

Im very happy we didnt cancel it, there was a lil discussion about it, but the idea here is that the continuity of the monthly 3gun match was/is very important. We want you to be able to depend on having some trigger time every month!!!

Thanks much for the unrequited help I got from some folks; you went over and beyond the call.

Thanks also all you 3gun "vets" for making the new shooters feel comfortable and welcome.

I also have to thank Jesse; He is a kick ass RO, and does a great job, especially with the new guys. I also appreciate that accurate iron business card he slips into their mag pouch after every stage.Ha!

Plans are to have a work day sometime this summer; we need to get some good dump tables and barrels built up, so we can lose those dumb tables. Club members; its a good time to get your work hours in for the year.

'Im glad you all like the match today. I did help with set up and stage design as well as Mr. Richter, so in a way you did shoot my stages today....Jesse would have know if he had come to set up....but what the heck we got done befroe Tara would let him come play. I am willing to take any and all blame for poor performance...as the Semi,s have done their part to help all of yo out. Sooooooo...next time it wonm't be so easy and I will be there to shoot it. I think 202 yard slug shots from roll over prone followed by a swamp swim, and some underwater rifle shooting. Let me know hun? Kurt and Will
