Noveske FFL Lowers

These lowers are not compatible with the Surefire 60 and 100 rd mags, if anyone didn't already know that.

That's retarded.

Tolerances can vary greatly. I have had trigger pin holes from major manufacturers so loose that they would walk out and needed anti-walk pins. I have also had a few that were so tight that I thought they would never go. That sucks about the Noveske and the JP trigger though. I haven't decided on a trigger yet and hope it all goes together easily, but we'll see.

I love JP pins.

However, I have had to fit all of them. Take a little off with a bit of sandpaper, and taper one end by chucking it in a drill. They are meant to be a press fit. It's kinda of a pain in the ass, but they're worth it. No offense to KNS, but I won't pay $30 for anti walk pins.

I just got a JP Easy Fit trigger. Came with everything, including the safety, and guess what else? A brass cone like the KNS pins to help with insertion. I just put a standard pin in, screwed on the brass cone and punched it through. It was a breeze. I'm glad JP is including those now.

most of the difference and tightness between lowers is the anodizing. A little lapping compound and oil on some stock pins and then smoothing out the pin hole will do wonders on installing tight pins.

Yep, that was an issue on my first trigger job. Worked that pin for 10 minutes trying to get it in. It finally went. A tiny bit of misalignment and the anodize can be frustrating.
I'm sure its a no biggie for you.
