Thanks DuBois - I'm with you 100%. I thought about the image as well, but we would lose the direct links to the gun profiles. Definitely food for thought.
 
Yea but if you can create a page for each user that is a "My Vault" and that has just a thumbnail of each of their weapons - have the image link to that page - you are golden then. Its 1 extra click HOWEVER it saves the users a lot of time in updating their signatures - after a while they may give up just updating their sigs the other way
 
I like it - a lot. You've inspired some good ideas... we've got some research to do.
 
Have you seen the site called Pinterest? My wife loves that thing. I think the feature that it uses where you can pin your favorite photos do others can see is awesome. People know I'm into competitions. So I could pin all of my favorite Glocks or custom Stag rifles or whatever. Great way to catch a glimpse of other guys kits without looking through all their WW2 era stuff or whatever else you might not be into.

This is awesome feedback. We've thought of this as well and plan on addressing it in a few ways. Our next release will be out in about 3-weeks and it will be a massive overhaul bringing users together in a way NEVER seen in the firearms gun space. Our release after that will focus on making all of our gunvault items easier to manage, search, and share.

We're throwing in everything but the kitchen sink in 2012. We're super excited to continually bring new features, for FREE, to the firearms community. We're also extremely excited to be able to incorporate feedback from our user base, like what you've provided above. Keep bringin' it!

Sweet! I was wbout to post my vault in my signature today on another new forum I joined and i couldn't get the signature copied while on my iPad. Am I missing something or am I slow?

It's because you're using an iPad and not an Android tablet.
 
That's right. The dynamic nature of the tool is enabled by Flash which unfortunately won't run on iOS.
