Thanks for the kind words, Jesse! We're pretty excited with what we have coming out this year. We're announcing a new release this week and we have a massive release in a few weeks. We hope all who join "The Zoo" enjoy our offering and give us feedback ([email protected]) on what they'd like to see or improvements they think should be made. We own 100% of the code to the site and built it from scratch so the possibliities are endless as to what we can do.

I also wanna give boomershooter.com props as they truly are the best forum on the web. The members on this site are by far the most knowledgable and helpful out there.

In other news, we just added boomershooter.com to our list of forums in our forum signature genrator tool. Below are a few links on how to use the forum tool, an overview of things to consider when taking pics of your guns, and a link to our release notes page which covers all our current features.

See you guys at "The Zoo!"

~Mac

Thanks, McGuire! You should try out the forum signature generator and update your boomershooter.com profile with your GunVault items. It's quick and easy and writes all the text for you. Just copy-n-paste!

In just a few short weeks GunZoo is going to push a release that is going to be a game changer! We're excited and can't wait for you guys to see it. But, until the major release goes out, we have a "mini-release" we're announcing in a few days that will add some great features to hold us over until the next major release.

Thanks for being a member of GunZoo!

I really enjoy the site. Only thing I have found that I don't like is that I cannot view the images without the boxes or click on it and pull up an enlarged image. Unless I am missing something? Either way, really cool site you guys have designed.

I have been posting pics of my guns one by one on forums and other Internet sites a bunch. This makes it so much easier to share everything. I am gonna upload my 3 gun kit as well. Stuff like mags, slings, bags, Caddy's etc,

Thanks so much, Kelly! I know exactly what you mean. When you first land on a GunVault profile the image has all tags highlighted. There is a "hide tags" link just to the right of the image that will clean the picture up for you. Even with the tags hidden, hovering your mouse over a modification in the tab below the image will reveal the tag on the image.

At this time there's not a way to view a larger image, but we've definitely recognized this as an opportunity. We've recently redesigned the GunVault to allow for much larger images and a better aesthetic for tagging, and our engineering team is on the job of making it real. And have no worries - when we launch the next version of GunVault all of the data you have entered so far will be automatically upgraded.

Love the feedback - thanks again!

I wish the forum signature link would pick up the names I have used rather than the stock names. I have to change them all the time.

I was wondering if it is possible to have a link that you can put in your forum signature that automatically updates when you add new guns. It's tough to go re post my vault link into 50 or so forums everyone u get a new toy.

One other thing I have issues with is that the site never remembers me. I check the remember me box but I have to log in everyone I go to the site. I bet that is me or does anyone else have that issue?

I created a new signature this morning and noticed the same thing. This is a great suggestion and we've added this to our list to be developed. We'll let you know when it's up.

Good thought. We'll take it to the team and see what we can come up with. Creating something that plays nice with the vast majority of forums out there is a challenge in itself - it make take twice the normal amount of beer to come up with something.

We've had a couple other reports of this issue and the team is currently looking into it. Certainly this is key to using the site conveniently. I hope to have more for you on this one soon.

I'm not thinking there will be too easy of a way to do the 2nd one - since I know most forums dont allow for HTML type of post in signatures.

The only thing I could think of would be some sort of image for the signature - and clicking the image would send to a Vault overview instead of the particular gun. This would make it easy to change the image since all the signatures point to the same image. Just my thoughts for ya Biggs

This sounds pretty cool. I will have to check it out when I get home from work.
