Glad you guys made the trip. Your son handled his gun very well and shot great. Can't wait to see him when you get him into shooting centerfire at some matches.

I'm going to cut him loose with my BPH clone in a Pro Am match in a couple of weeks at USSA. He shoots it well in training, I'm sure he'll be fine with it in a match...

Jeff, you keep saying "BPH," which I thought was a typo the first time for BHP meaning Browning High Power, but now I'm not sure.

Yes, that was a typo. The gun is an Arcus 94. It's a Browning High Power clone from Bulgaria. It's forged as opposed to stamped, and the barrel is rated for +p ammo. It weighs 2.25 lbs, so recoil is minimal. Mine is an army surplus gun. Paid 200 at a gun show, nice shooter. I'm probably picking up an M&P Pro this week so I am going to pass the Arcus to him.
