YouTube Videos from Upstate Cowboy Action Matches

OK, not an Upstate match but here are two videos from the Wild Bunch Action Shooting match hosted by the Palmetto Posse in Columbia today.

The first is Shamrock Sadie shooting the "Three Clay Challenge"; there are three steel popper targets that launch a clay into the air when the steel target falls. My camera work was not good but I believe Sadie hit one of them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wY-EEQO ... e=youtu.be

Next is "Dutch" shooting Stage 4. There were only five rifle targets on this stage but a good number of pistol targets (20) and shotgun targets (6). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EZ449Vs ... e=youtu.be

Glad you enjoy them. I am not able to spend a lot of time taking photos and videos because all participants are expected to take turns performing "posse chores" such as spotting, picking up brass, and manning the loading and unloading tables. This is especially true at my home club where I often serve as a posse marshal or take turns running the timer.

I will try to get some videos of different shooting styles also. The black powder shooters are lots of fun to watch.

Here is a video taken by a friend and posted to YouTube; it shows our Greenville match director coaching a first time shooter during the recent State Match. Probably after the competitors had finished. The shooter is a friend of one of our new-ish shooters.

This video demonstrates one of the interesting aspects of cowboy action shooting; often the top shooters are the first to step up and help the new guy or gal. The shooter did pretty well for a first timer, too.

Really stretching the "title" of the thread with this one, a video of Kid Ray, one of SC's top shooters, at last weekend's Georgia State Match:

He's the match director of one of the Columbia clubs but he's a regular participant (and WORKER, we love those) at the Greenville matches. Close enough!
