A good friend and lifetime shooter came in to my shop last week and bought some guns so he can start shooting 3-gun. He shot a match and loved it. I shoot cowboy action with him and a nicer guy you'll never meet. The best part, he was born in 1933. He's in good shape, but I just love that he keeps wanting to try new shooting venues and disciplines.
I guess we never are to old to try new things. :)

He bought an M&P and the Justright carbine that takes the same mag (M&P), and a JM Mossberg 930, the 10 rnd version. He wanted to reload for just one round (9mm).

There's a guy at our club that has to be around 80 that shoots most all competitions, and is damn good too! I hope I still can when I'm that old!

I pheasant hunted with a guy that was in his mid 70's in January. According to my pedometer, we walked around 10 miles over broken ground during the day with shotgun and ammo in heavy clothes.

He ended up with more birds than anybody and didn't slow us down. 70 is the new 40!
