Kinda rough but, still a PRINTED metal firearm that works. 3 D printing is not that old. I bet the ATF is having a fit and as sood as Fienstink finds out they will outlaw 3D printers or least have to have a background check.
I'm sure there will be some ignorant people freaking out like usual about this but if you can afford a printer that costs tens of thousands of dollars and are a competent enough engineer to design a firearm in CAD then you would probably be better off filing for your FFL than making guns illegally. There is not much difference in having a 3d printer capable of printing guns than someone with a cnc that can do the same thing.
