From the Heartland Outdoors site:

Come see the Wilson Combat factory reps from 9am - 7pm. They will be bringing lots of guns, knives, ammo and other goodies. No charge to shoot the Wilson Combat guns on our range, but you must buy the ammo.

As you may know, Wilson Combat and an OKC area vendor recently parted ways. This left it nearly impossible to even look at a Wilson, much less shoot one, much less buy one.

Heartland Outdoors saw that void and decided to fill it. THEY are now a "Wilson Combat Premier Dealer."

So not only will you have a chance to check out a legendary Wilson 1911, you'll get to SHOOT them, too! If you've ever wondered "what's all the fuss about," then here's your chance to find out.

Not only are they bringing their 1911's, but they're also bringing their knives. I've only seen these in pictures and read some reviews. But I've never seen one I could hold. But that'll change this weekend.

There is no rental fee for the guns, you only need to buy their ammo (which is reasonably priced, so they're not trying to gouge anybody on ammo costs. Heck, you'd pay more for ammo at a gunshow or another dealer!)

So if you ever had the Wilson itch, come scratch it for as long as you want to this weekend at Heartland Outdoors.

John May will be one of the representatives of Wilson Combat doing this event.

Also, they are bringing their high-end AR's, so you can check those out, as well.

I went there today but didn't get a chance to shoot the wilsons, just ran out of time after getting the AR finally sighted in. They looked pretty sweet though. I may be wierd but just handleing them, none of them really seemed to feel right in my hand.

On the other hand they had their AR triggers there....... They are frickin sweet. Super light pull, no slack to take up, and crazy short trigger reset. Yall need to get down there to check one of them out.

Funny, they all felt pretty god in hand to me.

The only way to know is to go to Heartland to handle AND shoot them.

I agree about those AR triggers! They have two. I reallllly liked their "3-gun" trigger.

I did want to shoot them, even though they didn't feel right. Maybe they fell better while shooting them, IDK. I think the grip was to narrow for me. I like a big fatty grip on my guns, and slender grip on my ladies.

The single stage AR trigger was the one I loves, that thing had zero slop. But the reset on the 3 gun was awesome.

Great minds think alike! He has 24 hours to claim that for himself before this is my sig line:

...I like a big fatty...
