What are round counts for this event? Also, when they call for specific shotgun ammo, is that just because of force required for target knockdown or some sort of challenge factor? I notice they call for bird shot in some and buck in others, and am wondering if just plain target ammo would work?

Jonathan,
You can't use bird shot only buck or slug and that only has to do with the carrier systems in the range.

I can't make it. Caught the stomach flu or a bad hangover. Tough to tell the difference anymore.

FWIW. I would have shown up with just birdshot.

Had it for the last 4 days. I know what you mean. Would have shown up with just birdshot as well, but I got pulled away for a hockey game.

One of the guys who went texted me and said it was only 7 rounds, which isn't bad from the money standpoint, but it would still be good to know well in advance so you don't have to end up buying whatever they have on the shelf.... or maybe that was the intent.. Conspiracy theory anyone??

7 rounds about $7.....not so bad.
Something like 45 rounds of buck would get kinda pricey tough

It wasn't a bad little match. I had a few safety concerns and it could have easily been run faster but all and all it was fun and definitely better then sitting at home.
