Look out OKCGC .22 Fun Match. Michelle is loaded and ready! My dad gave his old Remington 512 bolt action .22 rifle to my wife for Christmas.

Very cool gun and is one of the most accurate .22's I have ever shot. It was made in 1958. The bluing is perfect and the stock was a little rough from 50 years of squirrel hunting and plinking. I stripped the old varnish off and gave it a nice coat of stock oil. Put a 4x-9x scope on it and she is ready to roll. Another cool thing is that it will shoot short, long and long rifle.

I think this present meant more to her than anything she has ever received.

Very nice piece of family heritage! You did a great job on the re-finish.
I was going to comment on how big the scope is on that gun, but got to thinking about the 6X24 power on my nordic .22 upper.

Never mind.
