why would I change over to a CF handguard

The thing with weight that's funny is everyone tries to shave ounces off here and there but don't think about the weight of a full mag being in the rifle and losing weight with every shot fired. Especially with the new 60 round surefire mags that people are raving over. Nobody ever mentions how heavy they are loaded up in the gun. Seems like the weight of the loaded mag is never an issue.

in a well balanced gun, weight in the middle is less noticed, but in a nose heavy gun , JP midweight contour or dpms M12 in 18" it tilts forward pretty hard. ​
