I would like to get a 22 upper set up for my AR , but I only have some store credit to use. I haven't seen any available anyway. So I have enough credit at a store to buy an AR style .22. Can I get feedback for the S&W MP 22, the Sig 522 and the Beretta ARX 160. I think the Beretta is made by Umarex and Colt is made by them also. So I'm kind of leaning away from them.

Several of us bought Nordic uppers on a group buy awhile back.
I haven't heard any negative feedback from anybody that owns one.

M&P 15-22's are nice. The only thing I don't like about them is the proprietary mags.

Thats what I would really like to do, but haven't seen any in stock and I have free money I can only use on the options I listed. So far 3 S&W likes.

Thats a neg, but my Glock mags won't fit many other guns, at least ones I can afford. They aren't real pricey, but it is a pain in the butt trying to shift through so many different mags. I grab a mag and it's the right caliber but wrong gun.

If say the Nordic Components NC22 but I don't think it's been back in production for over a year with all the other chaos going on. I'd grab an M&P 15-22 as I've watched several run great at the local matches.

Well it's a done deal, 26$ out of pocket after using my gift cards I had been stashing away. Another plus is I showed it to my wife and told her I had spent the gift cards. " Ewwww it looks like a military gun". Now when I stroll out the door with my not so known about AR it will be the nasty looking military rifle I bought with my gift cards and not the 5.56 that has been hiding in my gun safe. Thanks for the input guys. I had been doing some online research but thought it would be best to ask those in the know.

You guys were right. Shot it today a 25yds with Federal 36gr copper plated. Took less than 10 rounds to sight it in. Only shot about 50rds, no problems though. I was real suprised how well these old eyes could do with just the iron sights. We did use my friends Mako bipod off of his M16. My friend was online (after I fixed his computer) when I left looking at an HK knockoff because he liked it so much, but he said he couldn't buy the same thing as I had. When I pulled in to the garage a sguirrel ran across the drive about 15 yards away and I one handed a good sight picture on him, just practicing no bullets. Now I'm worried my stash of .22 is going to be depleted too quick.
