Which PCC to buy you ask?

Also ask otto how great his is.
Benny, my post was kinda tounge in cheek. I don't know that Mark is a member here. Can you give us his thoughts on PSA?

MikeF is a member here that HAD a PSA 9mm & wasn't too happy with it. If I remember correctly he couldn't get much help from them with his problems either.

Most of the problems I see with PCCs are PSA rifles. Not saying they're all bad, thats just what I've seen. I know everybody wants a diamond for a nickel, but you pay for quality. Quality takes time, time costs money.

He ordered a glock lower and got a colt mag lower instead, ordered their upper also. No colt or uzi mags would go into lower w/o grinding on mags and only one would go. would not drop out. He sent it all back for refund.

I'd never had issues with PSA before so I thought I'd give the 9mm line a shot when one of these good deals came up.

Bottom line is they are cheap for a reason, and I couldn't get mine to run under match conditions.

SUPER picky on ammo. A range toy to burn through cheap steel ammo is about as far as I would trust them personally.

Sounds like the PSA rifles are equivalent to JM 930 shotguns. Occasionally you get one that runs.
The market is begging for a $700-1000 basic reliable 9mm PCC.

I built mine using colt pattern mags and with a Vortex Sparc II, 3 mags and a drop in Black Rain 3.5 trigger I'm in it for $1250 +/- I got a few good deals on some of the parts.
Of course, also tack on an extra $200 cause I SBR'd it, but that's optional.

I wanted a JP GMR-13; for the money, I don't like their rail options, stock or the mil-spec upper. I'm piecing one together right now off of a New Frontier Glock lower and Aero slick-side upper, using a JP bolt, SCS, and 16" barrel. Rail is a Seekins 15" NOXs, MagPul K2+ grip, Strike Industries Viper stock, tuned GI trigger and a AP Manufacturing brake. Waiting on a Vortex Spitfire AR dot from Optics Planet and Tony is sending me a barrel. Should have around $1200 total in it, still a ways off from a basic GMR-13. I'll likely add a Hiperfire or Rise trigger before the season opener.

I wish I would have built my own.

It looks like I am being gifted a Marlin Camp 9 that is collecting dust. The safety on it is like that of an M1 Garand. I have referenced the rules here https://www.uspsa.org/uspsa-rules.phpand I can find anything saying this style of safety is prohibited. Am I missing something or is this rifle good to go?

If nobody can show you in the rules where it's prohibited, then it's not.

CZ Scorpion EVO. LIT AF. Reloads like a pistol, runs any ammo, shoots soft and flat. Trigger takes about five minutes to get used to, and I will be figuring out how to do trigger work on them in a few weeks. Micah got one and I shot the **** out of it this weekend. Accurate, reliable, fast. Turnt up.

The safety should be fine, but doing something like this will get you sent home immediately.

And you'll get used to Tony and I giving you a wedgy every time you bend over to pick up steel in no time at all.

And it is a good looking lower too!

I don't know anything about cmmg 9mm stuff but it's been around awhile. I don't even know who kvp is??

I would love to find a bolt that works with my AR gold triggers. JP bolts do not. Cocking line is too high or some elephant dung. I've always dreamed a woman would tell me that but isnstead it was Chris from American Trigger.
I saw this on the Enos forum. It might be worth checking into for the AR Gold trigger. The post is on page 3 of the thread.

"I run a ARGold in my JP. It wouldn't always reset when 1st installed. I changed the hammer out with a SRGold hammer and it works perfect now."

The best! It'll look even better with the Hiperfire I ordered last night instead of the GI trigger. Still not sure why you went with the phallic roll mark though...
