Hello, have decided to get another 1911 45 acp. Its down to the Para Elite 5'' or the Remington Enhanced 5''. Want it for carry and dont want an amby saftey.. Thx Larry

I have heard that Para 1911 have extractor/ reliability issues, hear nothign but good things about the Remington though.

Ive had a elite target that I regret selling. Never any problems from mine about 650 rounds. Para has come a long way from the Canada days imo.
I think.para is using better quality parts these days and doing more hand fitting.
Plus I think para has a good rebate offer right now.
Ive also heard good things about the Remingtons.
