Now that I have this trick new Trijicon optic, I need a mount. I've been looking at the LT104 and the LT139. Leaning toward the 139 for the extended relief. Is the 139 the one to get?

I have a 104 on my tr20 3x9 Accupoint and the 139 on my tr24 1x4 Accupoint. I shoulda went with the 139 on both.

It sets the optic further forward allowing for more adjustment to get the perfect eye relief. The LT139 is almost a must for 1-4x optics. I have the LT104 on my TR20 which is 3-9x but the 1-4x needs the LT139 IMO.

If you look in this pic, the middle is the LT104 with TR20, the bottom is the LT139 and TR24. They are the same distance from the stock for identical eye relief, but look at the adjustment turrets. The LT104 would have a harder time being in that position with the TR24. I don't ever 'bridge the gap' between my rail and upper reciever. Some say that hurts accuracy, some say it doesn't. I don't try it. The TR24 will defintely work wit the LT104, but the LT139 just gives you a little more room.

Good info guys! From what i read they both had a 20MOA riser and 1.5" of eye relief. I honestly couldnt tell the diferences on paper until i saw the pics above.

I've tried the 1.93. What this means is the mount puts the centerline of the scope 1.93 inches above the centerline of the bore. Whereas the regular mounts are 1.7 inches. Nothing wrong with the 1.93 mounts, I just didn't care that much for it. I have a low enough cheek weld that it was a stretch to use the 1.93 mount. Yet another option to think about though.

I ordered my 2 LT139's Wednesday and they arrived Saturday. Fit my rifle and the new Sightron 1-7x24mm perfectly. Larue just gained another loyal customer.

I just ran across the Sightron 1-7x online also. How do you like yours? At the price, if it works, it would be an awesome scope on an AR, 3-Gun or not.

$669 here:

I've got almost a half dozen of the LT-139's and am very happy with them. I've wanted to try a 1.93 for the reasons Cywrus likes his. In watching my videos, it appears that I'm very low on the gun. I'm thinking it may allow me to keep my eyes more level.
