Ok, so I can't stand my stock AR trigger any longer and have tried a few Geissele's and narrowed my choice to either the Super 3 Gun, or the SSA-E. The gun will be used for 3-gun mostly, but i am much more used to the standard two stage. Any input from you all would be awesome! John

Ok. I have tried the SSA, SSA-E, and the one for the SCAR and I liked the quality of all, but the SSA-E stood out to me. Might just go that route.

I really like my S3G. I wouldn't say it's a hybrid at all. It feels like a smooth single stage to me. There's no wall or stopping point. You pull and it breaks. It definitely will take a little getting used to but I really like it.

I have the S3G and I love mine, I agree with everyone, crisp and smooth, I wish I could afford more of them for my other guns

Neither (lol)

Same.

You may want to consider the JP single stage trigger. It also happens to be half the price.

Yep. I put one on my R15, and liked it so well that I ordered another for a Spikes lower from Makereadyproshop.com.
Be fitting it this weekend. its actually pretty fun to install it.

The ONLY geissele, in my opinion is the standard $279 two stage. Buy it from Rainier arms; they give you all the springs so you can play around with different combos. With the springs, you can make it the match, DMR, and something else; cant remember the nomenclature.

Ok, so I ended up getting the SSA-E (2 stage). I really like it! The first stage is light and airy and the break is crisp with very minimal over travel. I don't know if its the best trigger in the world, but coming from a mil spec trigger it's like a whole new gun! I will do some accuracy testing next trip to the range and see how much it helps me.

you should buy the one that comes in the package marked............ JP!!

they are the benchmark, they support our sport, and have for years and years and years.

I was gonna say something like this but now it has been spoken by someone with authority, so I suppose that should settle it.

I would have but I didn't want an adjustable this time. Maybe on a second rifle!

But you are very right about John Paul I got to meet him up in Raton one year and He is a great guy.

I used the S3G on my irons rifle and loved it, until I used the Geissele two-stage. The two stage allows for much more controlled trigger pull. You know where the trigger breaks. The S3G just breaks. It vanishes into an aybss and is never able to be found. I shot probably 2k rounds with the S3G and could never for sure call when it would break.

However, the S3G was damn awesome on hoser stages.
