Where in the World is Burk's Glock

My G26 is making a trip to Smyrna, GA today for some upgrades and warranty work. I don't know what I will do without my little girl

I guess "J" and "Kim"[ber] will have to take up the slack.

I will report the progress (time) and any correspondence from Glock in this thread in case anyone cares how long it takes to get a gun back from G.I.

She is old and needs some upgrades. It is double feeding everything. I think they upgraded the extractors several years ago.

Well I hope things work out ... Dont let this get around, but owning a Glock is on my "bucket list"... even if it's a beater 17 just to break in the youngest kid (to shooting) with.

SHE'S BAAAACK! FedEx delivered my little girl back to me today. 20 days from the date I shipped it.

Warranty information read:

Replaced extractor
Replaced Recoil Spring
Cleaned
Meets factory specs
Tested OK

Now I just have to go to the range and run a couple hundred rounds through her.

She looks the same as when she left except the new extractor seems to be a two-piece (?). I also got a new Clamshell case

They took my Ghost connector out. They were nice enough to return it though, so we will have to put it back in eventually.

Took my little "protector" to the range today and ran 100 rounds through her with various mags and everything was perfect. I think I have my old dependable girl back. I will shoot it at the next Heartland match. Sub-Compacts rock...........
