Where do you zero your AR

when I was in the army we used this target now that almost everyone uses an optic of some kind I don't know what they are using now.

This right here. Being retired US Army(1997) this is what we used. I only have a full sized AR15A2, and zero for 25yds, and know pretty much where its going to hit out to 300yds. Which means the arc of the bullet is going to be pretty much dead center at 250yds.

One AR is the Rem(busy) R-15 I use for coyotes. Its sporting the Nikon coyote special scope. Its designed to be sighted in at 100, and use the built in elevations out to 400.
55 grain FMJ, and softpoint.
I've shot it out to 300, and its good enough to take down a coyote.
The AR in .243WSSM is sighted dead on at 200. Use it mainly for deer hunting, so in my area, that will take care of anything out to 300 which would be my longest possible shot.

I also go with a 25m/300m BSZ. 6 o'clock hold on a man-sized targets gets you good hits from point blank to 350m. When you're at your 300m setting with the small aperture, just flip to the big aperture for your 50m/200m zero if you're shooting at close quarters.
