When was the last time you scored 2 rifles for a $100 bill?

Earlier this evening for me. I picked up a 1958 Arsenal 26 SKS , Everything matches but the bolt and I dont think the upper hand guard is original to the rifle. Rifle #2 is a Marlin 917V .17hmr wood stock and bull barrel. I happen to have a good friend who is hooked up with a few insurance companies to appraise the value of firearms for claims. Every once in awhile if they tell him just to keep the guns. He called me and asked if I was interested. Of course I snatched them up as quick as I could. These 2 were in a house fire but the only damage is a little rust from getting sprayed with water. A little oil and some elbow grease and they will be good to go. :97:

Pics or it didn't happen! Just kidding - that's awesome, congratulations! Now I'm off to try to find a friend in the insurance industry...

that marlin should be a tack driver. I have one and love it. the trigger needs a little DIY gun smithing, but after that its money!
