I have heard that there are 22.lr conversions kits out there but thought they would not function as they should=reliable.

I am back at the range shooting 22 lr rifles and handguns and my buddy (pipewrench) showed with an unknown( to me ) frame and a KIMBER 22 conversion slide upon it. we shot for about 1 hour and I was awed by the reliability and accuracy of that kimber conversion slide. might be worth looking into for me too . some research is in order.

just saying

I have both the compact and target Kimber conversion kits. I've run them on my 3", 4" and 5" Kimbers and Sigs. Never had a problem with either kit, they a lot of fun to shoot and a great way to introduce a new shooter to the 1911 platform.

I borrowed a buddies Kimber 22lr conversion upper and it functioned great but I have a problem and just wanted a whole gun so I bought a “Sig” 1911-22 to fill that spot in my collection. I would not hesitate to buy one for the right deal though as they are fun!

me to Bobo. the sig 1911-22 is ok. not accurate like a true 1911 but is great to teach the basics as I recover. this gun causes me to really concentrate on trigger control--something I can use

merry christmas
