Still kind of new to all of this so forgive me. Been doing a little reading. What ammo are you guys using for matches. Not really brand but type. I hear of fiocchi spreader ammo. Some are using a briley diffusion choke. I've been using a light modified choke. So what kind of suggestions can you give me. thanks.

Light modified choke is good.
I use the Winchester 7 1/2 shot bulk pack from Walmart and haven't had any issues of reliability, hitting targets or knocking down steel with my M2. All is good so far.

I've been using the #7 1/2 shot Federal Bulk packs from Walmart & Federal low recoil slugs & buckshot

I use the Federal Bulk pack for practice and Winchester AA's for matches, usually #7 1/2's or #8's. I also keep a box of #6's or #4's (depending on what the match allows) on hand for stubborne steel.

I've had good luck with the Federal 2 3/4" 1oz. 3 1/4 dram loads from Academy, I don't support wal-mart. Still on the fence about slugs and buckshot but I damn sure know my shotgun doesn't like those Fiocci slugs! I see my check cleared so looks like I better get it figured out before June! Later,

Kirk
