What type of stage or particular target is the one you dread the most?

Texas Star?
Mini-Poppers?
No-Shoots?
Prone?
Unloaded starts?

And, more importantly, what are you going to do about it?

I dread 10-12" plates at 50+ yards with a shotgun. Slugs have hurt my bad this year and I've spent close To $500 practicing them.

I don't dread any target, I can deal with them all, however there are a few I detest.

My least favorite are stages where one activator starts multiple targets that have to be engaged from different positions. I don't see them enough during club matches and I don't have the resources to set them up during practice.

Spinners.....what the hell? Teaches timing??? In combat shooting??? WTF I can spin them with all three, but what the hell is the point

Polish plate rack. Fun to shoot, not really hard, but the reset time sucks green donky dork!

Any flying target in a 3-gun match....what? While we are in heavy contact we take the time to shoot a dove or two for dinner???

Kurt needs to bring back SOF 3-gun.

I agree 100% on the polish plate rack. Too many Texas Stars gives me the same heart ache. I'm not good at resetting stages.

I freakin' love the fliers (no sarcasm). I'd put pigeon flippers on every dang stage if they'd let me & I know Mike Rush would agree with me.

as for targets I hate....any target shot in a "Dark stage" or weakhand. If we never did either of those, I'd be perfectly fine with it.

You should try skeet or trap....EVERY TARGET FLYS.....you would be in heaven!
lol, not the same as smacking a popper & launching a clay up in the air.
Besides, those trap/skeet throwers chunk them suckers pretty fast

I'll be sure to pester you about that next time we are on the same squad since I know it pisses you off now.

Yes

Those 4 inch rectangular plates with pistol will make me say ugly words. Especially when somebody decides they should be shot at 20-25 yards.
Hell yes

Already answered this so I won't pester you again in this thread

Two rounds of skeet and two of trap every thursday at the Grand National Gun Club in Enid keeps the eye sharp!

Classic ipsc targets (the ameobas), let Europe shoot at faceless, more neutral and pc targets! I prefer my enemy to have a face!

As it stands I am having the most issue with 350+ rifle and slugs past 50.

More time behind the controls I guess. I think I am going to try a couple different chokes with the slugs and see if they pattern better.
