What is the hot CZ for USPSA Production Division

I'll have to borrow a gun and make my own mold. Ive already been searching for a mold, butnhave come up with zilch...

There is a dearth of good holsters for the Shadow.

I had a custom holster maker (performance holsters/rick edwards/rick417)build one for me...it took several tries to get a good fit. The mold that is available is for a previous generation sp01, not the Shadow. So he had to use an actual gun for the mold. Rick went to great lengths to get it to fit right. But his DOH hanger didnt work for me and I ruined it while trying to 'fix' it. Rick is awesome, and I'm sure he'll fix me up, whenever I get around to it.
Ready Tactical wouldnt build me one unless I sent them my gun, geez.
I've heard of guys taking a Ready Tactical STI Edge holster and remolding it to fit.
Elderton built me an awesome Shadow holster but it wasnt a D.O.H. and I sold it.
Blade Tech, of course, sucks. But they have the only viable DOH holster for the Shadow.

So, if Troy comes up with a slick DOH design, I'd loan him my Shadow to use for a mold.

JT -- those are regular CZ SP-01 Shadows, which have a "stated" 4.7" barrel, but is measured from crown to bottom of ramp. From crown to breech-face, the measurement is about 4.5".

I saw an ad for a shadow with a 5.4" barrel. I think it's kinda new. I can't remember the name. Anybody know the gun of which I speak? Is it production legal?

There is an "Australian" model with a tad longer barrel - it sticks out the frame a little - it is 100% production legal...

Here is the 5.4" Shadow. Not sure whether it'd be Production legal. The "Australian" Shadow is basically the same frame, but has a 4.9" "stated" barrel length -- again, when measured crown-to-breech-face, the length is just under 4.7". I'm about to install one in my duo-tone shadow. CZ Shadows have pretty good sight-radius. Mine is about 6.5".

FWIW... talked to Rob at CZ Custom about it. This 5.4" Shadow is not yet Production legal, but will soon be in the CZ-USA catalog. Then, as soon as its production volume meets the minimum requirement, the gun will become USPSA Production legal. On another note, as the Glock G34, the new CZ will not be IPSC legal in that the barrel is too long.
